This little gem arrived to me in perfect condition. Kudos to Amazon for their quick delivery time. The genny itself is bigger than the pictures let on, but for 2000watts, this isn't bad at all. THESE UNITS DO NOT COME WITH OIL IN THEM. Go buy some 4 stroke 10w30 oil at home depot or lowes. Follow the instructions to put the oil in, fill it gas, and turn it on. The pull cord is very easy. Just practice...
I purchased this unit at overstock.com, as Amazon was backordered. For <$300 shipped (on sale when I purchased on 11/28), and with all the positive reviews here on Amazon, I decided to take a chance. So far (haven't really used it much yet), I am very happy with my decision. Main use for me is emergency home power backup - fridge, space heater, microwave, lights, tv....just the basics to keep me...
Everything went together easily. Have only run it on propane so far, starts very easy, just make sure you do not use the choke when running on propane. Broke it in for 5 hours on regular motor oil, then changed it to synthetic oil. Seems well constructed, and is very heavy, even with the wheel kit, it is not easy to move around.have not used gasoline , but started right up on propane and when I plugged...
fter filling with 10w-30 oil, through a small funnel using about the 350 cc per the instructions, I filled the tank with about half a gallon of 89 octane ethanol free gas. There is a tall filter in the fuel opening. I switched the machine to ON, fuel valve ON, fuel cap OPEN, primed 6 times with the choke off, put the choke on and pulled. The first pull it started (I was surprised) but before I could...
Great product, starts with the first half pull every time. Light and not as loud as most. I'm a contractor and out rings all my tools, ran my string lights, torpedo heater, air compressor, just fine but added the skill saw to the mix and it bogged down. So air comp. And skill saw can't run at the same time with everything else in play Powerfull product, no complains even under heavy duty,As mentioned...
